A deputy of the State Duma and leader of the A Just Russia party, Sergey Mironov, has spoken out against blocking the Telegram messenger, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
The politician described those who restrict the messenger as scoundrels.
“Scoundrels are restricting Telegram! Whoever is doing this should go to the SVO. This messenger is the only means of communication on the front line. Someone decides that the messenger needs to be slowed down. Idiots are doing this. This is not just provocation, it is treason. People are dying there for Russia, for the Russian world, and what are you doing? Come to your senses!” Mironov said.
Note that the Kremlin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said he regretted the restriction of Telegram, but added that the messenger must comply with Russian laws.
