“It is regrettable that Telegram is being restricted, but the law must be enforced," said Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesperson of the Kremlin, commenting on the restriction of Telegram in Russia, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Speaking about the possible consequences of the restrictions, Peskov emphasized that communication at the front would not be possible via Telegram.
The Kremlin spokesperson added that contacts with Telegram are ongoing, but until the messenger complies with legal requirements, Roskomnadzor will continue to impose restrictions.
