Russian Federation Council Chair Valentina Matviyenko said on Wednesday that Russia will only negotiate with Ukraine when Kiev "recognizes the realities existing now.", APA reports citing Teletrader.
She suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will not be persuaded to start peace talks during his visit to the United States.
Matviyenko also insisted that there will be no new mobilizations in Russia, stating that "this topic has never been raised, and it is not on the agenda at all." She repeated that Moscow's "special military operation" will end when its goals are achieved and that no specific dates are discussed.
