The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated a criminal case in connection with the incident on the Crimean bridge, it was said in the telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
“According to preliminary information, in the morning on the automobile part of the Crimean bridge from the side of the Taman Peninsula, a truck was blown up, which caused the ignition of 7 fuel tanks of the railway train heading towards the peninsula. As a result, two car spans partially collapsed.
On behalf of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Aleksandr Bastrykin, forensic specialists from the Main Directorate of Criminalistics (Criminalistic Center) of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation left for the scene.
