The results of the Sochi summit, as well as the joint statement of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, prove the failure of the official Yerevan, said Armenian political expert Vigen Akopyan, APA reports.
According to the expert, although the proposed Russian model for the regulation of relations between Yerevan and Baku is not accepted, it is not excluded that any verbal agreements are reached.
Akopyan thinks that the Prague process will be continued.
He believes that the fact that the name of the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh" was not mentioned in the tripartite declaration adopted in Sochi, the right to self-determination was not mentioned, and the claim that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are supposedly in the sovereign territory of Armenia is not reflected, as a result, it is a serious failure for the Armenian side.
