Armenia states that it supports all decisions of the CSTO and remains a member of the organization, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference held on the outcomes of his visit to Kyrgyzstan, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
“Armenia considers itself a CSTO member but currently refrains from participating in the organization’s meetings. This is their choice; we are in contact with them,” the Russian President noted.
Putin also emphasized that during Russia’s chairmanship of the CSTO, the decisions adopted by the organization will be coordinated with Armenia.
Note that Armenia did not participate in the CSTO summit held in Bishkek.
