Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov visited Donbas to provide training to media workers, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Kiriyenko said on Wednesday, APA reports citing TASS.

"I would like to thank Dmitry Sergeyevich [Peskov] who returned from Lugansk last night where he had provided training to media and press service employees from the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics," Kiriyenko said at an event hosted by Russia’s Knowledge Society.

He pointed out that lecturers from the Knowledge Society had been working in Donbass, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions, since March. "I would like to give a big ‘thank you’ to all these people because apart from top-notch professional skills, these activities often require plain courage because they always involve life-threatening risks. So now this work continues in Donbass," Kiriyenko stressed.
