More than 200 flights were delayed or canceled at three Moscow airports - Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo due to heavy snowfall, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
As of 18:40 Moscow time, 50 flights were delayed and two canceled in Vnukovo.
71 out of 119 flights in Domodedovo were delayed for more than an hour
At Sheremetyevo airport, 90 flights were delayed and five were cancelled.
Noted that Moscow has had nonstop snowfall for more than three days.
According to the Phobos weather center, the snow in the Russian capital reached a height of 38 centimeters, exceeding the previous record set in 1989.
More than 12,500 machines and nearly 119,000 personnel were involved in cleaning the streets of Moscow from snow.
