Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday that Kyiv did not send any proposals on arranging a New Year's ceasefire, adding that "such a topic is not on the agenda.", APA reports citing Teletrader.
Meanwhile, Peskov commented that the Russian troops would legitimately target the United States Patriot missile defense systems, should Washington send the aforementioned equipment to Kyiv.
Nevertheless, he cautioned that these statements shouldn't be commented on yet before anything is officially confirmed by relevant authorities as "these are all media reports," and nowadays such reports might prove to be "an unreliable thing."
