Kremlin commented on the West's reaction to the threat of Kyiv using a "dirty bomb"

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the West's reaction to the threat of Kyiv using a "dirty bomb", APA reports citing Teller Report.

“The fact is that their distrust of the information that was transmitted by the Russian side does not mean that the threat of using such a dirty bomb ceases to exist.

The threat is there.

This information was brought to the attention of the interlocutors of the Minister of Defense.

Then it’s up to them to believe or not to believe,” he said.

On October 23, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had telephone conversations with colleagues from Turkey and France Hulusi Akar and Sebastian Lecornu, as well as with Ben Wallace and Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin.

In a conversation with the ministers, Shoigu stressed the concern over a possible provocation by Kyiv with the use of a "dirty bomb".

As RIA Novosti reported earlier, citing sources, the Kyiv authorities are preparing a provocation on the territory of Ukraine related to the detonation of a “dirty bomb” or a low-yield nuclear weapon.
