"Before extending the term of the "Grain Deal", Russia should assess the effectiveness of the implementation of the agreement," said Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told journalists, APA reports citing TASS.
Peskov stressed that the decision to extend the contract has not yet been made: "Restoration of Russia's participation in the agreement is not an extension of the period, this topic should be discussed officially. The deal expires on the 19th of this month, and of course, in order to extend the contract, it will be necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of its implementation, to see how all parties to the agreements are implemented, and after that it will be possible to make any decision".
