Intensive work is underway at the level of experts regarding the tension on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border: Kremlin

“In accordance with a phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, serious expert works on the tension on Armenian-Azerbaijani border are conducted,” said the head of the press service of Kremlin Dmitri Peskov, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

“A phone conversation was held with Armenian PM Pashinyan yesterday. The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and the serious tension that occurred there, were discussed. In accordance with the conversation, currently, Intensive work is underway at the level of experts regarding the tension on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border. We will provide information about the consequences of this work,” stressed the spokesperson of the Kremlin.

"Of course, it is difficult to assess the role of the Russian Federation and the role of Putin personally. Of course, the president is doing everything he can to help reduce the tension on the border. These efforts are ongoing," Dmitry Peskov added.
