"On the case of need, the issue of extension of the term of the monitoring mission of the European Union on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border may be discussed," said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a Cabinet meeting, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
Pashinyan has added that the group for the organization of the work monitoring mission is already in Armenia and the observation group of 40 people will come for monitoring for two months soon.
He said that opinions are voiced that the term of the mission should be either extended or made permanent.
"I am not sure about the issue of extension of mission either, but in the case of need, discussion of the issue is not ruled out," added Pashinyan.
