Another provocation was committed against Azerbaijan on Russia's "Perviy Kanal," APA's Moscow bureau reports.

This provocation occurred on October 20 during the evening edition of the channel's talk show "Bolshaya Igra."

During discussions about sending a European Union mission to Armenia, the experts who were the guests of the talk show made calls and statements opposing Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.

Natalya Narochnitskaya and Andranik Migranyan, Russia's "biggest pro-Armenian experts," appeared as guests on the program.

Migranyan spoke out against the Russian Federation's position on Karabakh on the Russian state channel. He stated that the "status" issue of Karabakh has never left Russia's agenda.

No one, however, reminded Mirganyan of Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement in an interview shortly after the trilateral statement was signed on November 10: "Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan, and it has always been so." Migranyan allegedly claimed that the issue of "status" was included in the next stage of Moscow's plan for Karabakh settlement.

Thus, the host of "Big Game," Vyacheslav Nikonov, and his pro-Armenian guests claimed for 17 minutes that restoring Azerbaijan's jurisdiction over Karabakh is not in Russia's interests. In addition, throughout the program, a map of the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" was displayed on the monitor.

At the end of the show, an interesting incident occurred. Thus, one of Russia's well-known pro-Armenian mouthpieces, "historian" Natalya Narochnitskaya, interrupted the host Nikonov's words and shouted, "Karabakh is an ancient Armenian land." At the time, the cameras did not show Narochnitskaya.

Notably, provocations against Azerbaijan are not new on Russian state-funded federal channels. We witnessed the same scene many times during the 44-day Karabakh war and before that. Russia's "First" channel has always been "selected" for its staunch pro-Armenianism in this regard. For a long time, "Roskomnadzor" has blocked or threatened to block a number of Azerbaijani media organizations due to their balanced coverage of the Ukrainian war. What happened yesterday on the air of the "First" channel, as well as the provocative statements made against our country, raises the issue of halting the broadcast of Russian mass media as well as television channels in Azerbaijan.

If Azerbaijan's media resources, which cover what is happening in Ukraine as well as Russia's official position without comment or bias, are blocked or threatened to be blocked on Russian territory, why isn't the "First" channel, which "incites" Migranyan and Narochnitskaya against us, not to be blocked in Azerbaijan?
