Iraq's National Security Council has condemned US-Saudi strikes on Iraqi territory and approved a comprehensive security plan to prevent the country's territory from being used to threaten neighboring states, Iraqi News Agency reports.
The council, chaired by Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi, also instructed the Foreign Ministry to document the attacks and pursue Iraq's legal rights under international law and the UN Charter.
It reaffirmed that responding to attacks falls exclusively within the authority of Iraq's constitutional institutions.
