Azeri players succeed in Spanish internationals

Baku. Kenan Hasanov â€“ APA-Sport. Azerbaijani chess players have taken a successful start in the international tournaments in Spain.
In Barcelona Namig Guliyev beat Juan Ribera (Spain) in the first round. He is to face Hans Krog Harestad (Norway) in the next round. The competition with 290 attendees will last till August 31.
Logman Guliyev and Rashad Babayev succeeded in the tournament in Spanish city of Collado Villalba as well. Azeri players beat local opponents in the first round. They are to encounter Spanishj players in the next round as well. 106 are competing in the tournament to last till August 30.
