The term of permit for the use of dark films and blinds on car windows in Azerbaijan will expire on November 15, the Baku City Main Police Department told APA.
In accordance with the relevant amendments made to the state standard “AZS 122-2004. Safety glass for ground vehicles. General specifications” of the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan, the translucency capacity of rear side windows must not be below 70 percent. In addition, given the climatic conditions in Azerbaijan, in the period from 1 May to 15 November, drivers are allowed to use blinds, manufactured by industrial method.
From November 15 on, drivers will be fined in the amount of 150 manats for using blinds or other devices liming visibility on rear side windows.
The requirements prescribed by law will be provided if vehicles installed with prohibited signals, loud mufflers, flashing lights, curtains, pellicles and other devices prohibited by law, as well as drivers with unpaid penalties are revealed.
