Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. Baku Court of Appeal will hold a hearing on the appeal filed against the court verdict on Natig Jafarli, the imprisoned executive secretary of REAL movement, on August 17.
Attorney Javad Javadli said the hearing will be held behind closed doors.
On 12 August Jafarli was called to the Investigation Department for Grave Crimes of the Prosecutor General’s Office. Then he was taken to Nasimi district court which sentenced him to four months’ pretrial detention.
Natiq Jafarli is charged with illegal business (Article 192) and abusing official powers (Article 308).
