Baku. Mahir Mammadov, APA reports. A group of armed persons committed an armed attack on the Absheron branch of "Kapital Bank" OJSC. Armed men entered the bank, stabbed a security guard and then shot him with a pistol, APA reports. Guard Asadov Vugar Vahid was hospitalized with gunshot and knife wounds.
The criminals did not take anything from the bank and escaped from the scene.
One of the attackers was identified immediately and arrested. His name has not been disclosed but it known that he works as a collector for this branch of the bank.
The police have immediately arrived the scene and are conducting investigation on the fact.
