Baku. APA-Economics. "Negotiations on continuation of activity of National Bank of Pakistan in Baku are underway”, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Dashgin Shikarov told APA-Economics.
“As it’s known, Pakistan supports our position in all international organizations, even engages in lobbism in favour of Azerbaijan. Particularly, adoption of resolution on Khojaly genocide in Pakistani Senate on February 1, 2012, condemnation of Armenia’s aggressive position in the Senate on October 5, 2013 and adoption of next resolution demanding withdrawal of Armenia from Azerbaijan’s territories and rejection of establishments of relations with Armenia have strengthened fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Therefore, negotiations on continuation of activity of National Bank of Pakistan in Baku are underway. Inshallah, this issue will be solved taking Azerbaijan’s and Pakistan’s interests into account”, Shikarov said.
