Russian warships staff members hold meetings in Baku - <span style="color: red;">PHOTO

Commander of the Naval Forces, first-rank Captain Shahin Mammadov said the visit of the Dagestan and Grad Sviyazhsk ships to Baku took place in response to Azerbaijan’s military seamen’s visit to Russia, APA reports citing the Defense Ministry’s official website.

Head of the delegation of the Caspian Flotilla of the Russian Federation, first-rank Captain Valery Smirnov expressed contentment of the development of Azerbaijan, especially its Armed Forces. He also said cooperative relations between the armed forces of the two countries are developing, putting special emphasis on the role of the presidents in this respect.

Note that, as part of the visit, the guests will visit places of interest, historical and cultural monuments of Baku, and Azerbaijan Higher Military Naval School. In addition, military seamen of the two countries will play a friendly football match.
