President of Azerenerji OJSC Etibar Pirverdiyev informed the President about the performance of the new power plant. He said that Ismailly-1 is one of the projects built within the framework of the project on effective use of alternative energy sources.
It was noted that the construction of the station began in 2011. The total design capacity of hydroelectric station is 1600 kW. The station includes three turbines and three hydro-generators.
According Pirverdiyev, soon, Ismailly-2 hydroelectric station with the total capacity of 3200 kW will be commissioned, too.
It was noted that the new diversion type hydropower plant is capable of annually producing 8 million kw / h of clean electricity. The station will provide 12 persons with permanent job.
Then, President Aliyev has set the station in operation from the control center.
