Western Azerbaijan Community responds to French Foreign Minister

The statements made by the French foreign minister during his visit to Armenia, including the signing of the agreement on military assistance with Armenia, and her remarks on strengthening the mandate of the European Union mission, show that official Paris is interested in bringing geopolitical competition to the South Caucasus region, prompting Armenia to militarism and revanchism, says a statement by Western Azerbaijan Community, APA reports.

It was noted that France, which has turned a blind eye to Armenia's occupation of Azerbaijani territories, ethnic cleansing, and even covered up the suffering of 1 million Azerbaijani refugees and displaced persons for 30 years, is now talking about the protection of Armenia's territorial integrity, which is a classic example of hypocrisy.

"For some reason, the French minister who slandered Azerbaijan like "Armenians left Garabagh because of the threat of force" "forgets" the shameful history of his country, full of genocides and racism, and still keeping other peoples under colonial dependence.

We believe that the South Caucasus policy of France, which suffered shameful defeats in Africa, based on religious bigotry and Azerbaijanophobia and Islamophobia, will also fail," the statement noted.
