European Union and Azerbaijan have built very strong cooperation relations, said the Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko while delivering a speech at the seminar held in Baku on the development of rural areas and the establishment of a national agrotourism system in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
"Agriculture is one of the leading factors of Azerbaijan's economic development. We will continue our support for agriculture in Azerbaijan. This includes increasing economic activity, as well as production areas. Our main purpose is the development of agrotourism in agriculture. Especially, ensuring the development of this area in rural areas contributes to the development of society as a whole," said Peter Michalko.
