"We express our deep gratitude to the state of Kazakhstan," Azerbaijan's Consul General in Aktau, Aykhan Suleymanli, said, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Kazakhstan reports.
"Relevant state structures of Kazakhstan responded very promptly to the events. They did everything in their power to save the injured. They acted quickly and did what was necessary at the right time. In Aktau, five consulates—Türkiye, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan—are operating, and they also came here. Timely medical intervention was provided at the hospital. The doctors did everything they could to keep the injured alive. According to the information I have, no one passed away either on the way to the hospital or in the hospital."
Note that on December 25, an Embraer 190 aircraft operated by Azerbaijan Airlines, flight J2-8243 on the Baku-Grozny route, diverted towards the city of Aktau due to the necessity of an emergency landing and crashed near Aktau.
