"As members of the Azerbaijan civil society, we have appealed to the Director of the German Council on Foreign Relations Guntram Wolff, and President of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation Norbert Lammert with an open letter. We call on them to cancel the biased and pro-Armenian propaganda event called "Cultural Heritage of Arsakh" on March 6 this year in Berlin," Chairman of the “Azerbaijan Campaign Against Landmines” Public Union Hafiz Safikhanov told APA.

According to him, the open letter brings to the attention of the mentioned persons that the holding of this event is a biased and inappropriate step.

"Recently, a meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders was held in Munich with the mediation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Following this, a meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers took place in Berlin. Immediately after this meeting, reports circulated that such an event would be held in Berlin. It is as if some hand does not want peace between these two peoples and for them to live in peaceful neighborly conditions. With this, they are attempting to undermine peace negotiations. So they resort to such measures. Therefore, we expressed our objection in an open letter. We demand the organizers to cancel the event and respond to the letter of Azerbaijani NGOs," Hafiz Safikhanov stressed.
