Joint Azerbaijani-American archaeological expedition in Yardimli has yielded positive results, APA reports.
Archaeological excavations carried out at the ancient settlement site of Bileh, located in the Urakeran village of Yardimli district, have led to the discovery of stone cist, jar, and earth grave monuments.
The excavations are being conducted under the leadership of PhD in History, Jeyhun Eminli, a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with the Azerbaijani-American joint expedition. Lara Fabian, a member of the expedition from the United States, described the findings as magnificent.
