Azerbaijan relocates first group of former IDPs to Hadrut Settlement and Badara Village

Under the directives of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has launched the first phase of the relocation process to Hadrut Settlement and Badara Village, APA reports.

Within this framework, the first resettlement convoy has been sent to Hadrut settlement in the Khojavend district and Badara village in the Khojaly district.

At this stage, a total of 14 families (96 people) were relocated to Badara village in Khojaly district: 8 families (28 people) from Goranboy district, 4 families (19 people) from Baku, 1 family (4 people) from Barda district, and 1 family (4 people) from Ganja city. Meanwhile, a total of 10 families (41 people) were resettled in Hadrut settlement of Khojavend district: 4 families (17 people) from Beylagan district, 4 families (14 people) from Baku, 1 family (6 people) from Bilasuvar district, and 1 family (4 people) from Absheron district.

Thus, taking into account the resettlement carried out on September 12, 2025, a total of 30 families (125 people) have been relocated to 3 settlements of Khojavend district, while 412 families (1,734 people) have been resettled to 6 settlements of Khojaly district.
