All seven people, whose remains were discovered in a mass grave near a former carpet factory in the center of Khojaly and identified, were subjected to severe torture before their deaths, director of the Association of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy of the Ministry of Health Adalat Hasanov said, APA's Garabagh bureau reports.
According to him, during a medical examination, traces of violence were found on the remains of these people: “All seven people buried today received injuries from blows with blunt instruments. In addition, two people were found to have bullet wounds.”
Note that excavation work in the area continues.
