The statistic figures were determined according to the number of children under 15 spending less than $2.15 per diem. According to the accounts 80% of children in Kyrgyzstan, 76% in Tajikistan, 57% in Georgia, 54% in Armenia, 53% in Moldova, 50% in Uzbekistan, 28% in Kazakhstan, 13% in Russia live in poverty. Recently the number of families living in poverty in Post- Soviet countries has decreased greatly. Statistics shows the children of families working in the agricultural sector suffer more from poverty. One-parent children undergo poverty as 3-4 times much. UNISEF told the APA that they do not elucidate the information concerning Azerbaijan because they have no available figures. As there are no concrete figures on the level of poverty in Azerbaijan in the State Statistics Committee UNICEF is not able to include them in the accounts. UNISEF is planning to conduct a survey in order to find out the living conditions of the children in Azerbaijan and to define real figures. /APA/
