At the end of current year, a meeting of religious leaders will be held in Baku, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh said this, APA reports.
He said that the issue of inviting Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Catholicos Garegin II to the meeting will be viewed:
“I have once invited him to Azerbaijan, and he came here and participated in a religious conference. Today, the Armenian Church, including Armenian Catholicos, encourages revanchism all over the world. Today, he does not accept at all that Azerbaijan has liberated its lands. They still do not agree with the fact that Garabagh is Azerbaijani land. We suggested that he accept it and we can accept him. Life goes on, one day he will understand that.”
