On February 27, the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, left for a visit to the United States of America, APA reports.
The delegation headed by the chairman of the CMO visited Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah State, USA, on February 28-March 4 at the invitation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Stirling Foundation.
The program of the visit includes meetings with the president of the Utah Senate, Stuart Adams, the vice-governor of the state of Utah, Diedre Henderson, the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the G20 Interfaith Forum group, as well as the Muslim Community at the Khadija Mosque, the Jewish Community at the Kol Ami Synagogue, and members of the Azerbaijani diaspora.
