“There is unity in Azerbaijan. Everyone is able to practice the religion and belief they want freely,” said Deputy Chairman of Caucasian Muslims' Office Fuad Nurullayev at the conference themed around “Modern challenges: Azerbaijani example of coexistence”, APA reports.
He noted that despite there being questions voiced regarding the problems between Sunnis and Shias in Azerbaijan, there is no such problem:
“I was asked a question in Germany regarding the problems between Sunnis and Shias in Azerbaijan. I told them that we have no such problem.”
