The official opening ceremony of a series of trainings for journalists and media specialists of member states of the Organization was held jointly by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Development and Diplomacy Institute of ADA University, with the cooperation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), APA reports.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, Ahmad Ismayilov, emphasized the importance of the event and said that this project is not only an effective and efficient platform for improving knowledge and skills, but also for strengthening multilateral relations.
Ahmad Ismayilov noted that Azerbaijan is contributing to the strengthening of relations in the field of media within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, and the current project will play a special role in the development of cooperation in the field of media, the exchange of experience, and the delivery of truths about our countries to the world community through various shared platforms.
He talked about the important measures implemented to increase the professionalism of journalists and the media literacy of information users in Azerbaijan, and drew attention to the steps taken to strengthen the environment of healthy competition in the media field.
