On July 11, starting from 19:00 to 19:15, members of illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, attempted to install long-term fortification facilities in front of the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Kalbajar region, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense told APA.
The conducted work was immediately stopped as a result of the urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijan Army Units.
Moreover, starting from 21:15 to 21:30, the Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the directions of Ashagi Shorja and Yukhari Shorja settlements of Basarkecher district using various caliber weapons periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of Yellija settlement of Kalbajar region.
The Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures in all the mentioned directions.
