Staff changes in AzTV

Maehriban Alkbarova now former chief of State TVâ€™s Enlightment department said she resigned on his will because working conditions were unacceptable for her. â€œPeople who were incompetent in history interfered my job while I wanted to present historical and statehood issues much more. I could not stand to this so I resigned and explained it with bad working conditionsâ€. Mehriban Alakbarzada said though she tried to propagandize enlightening ideas the leadership of the TV Company holds different view. â€œHow can I work in the place where fire worship is confused with religion, where Russian chauvinism is interpreted as uprising against Russian nation, where Iran word is not used because of Turkmenchay treaty. I mean high rank members of the company leadership not saying concrete names.
Gulu Maharramli, who worked as a director of â€œSaharâ€ for many years, said he resigned on his will and will continue his activity as a reviewer in AZTV.â€I was the manager of the â€œSaharâ€ programme for a long period. Now I decided to resign and expressed my will 3-4 months ago.
The chief editor of the â€œXabarlarâ€ department said she resigned herself. â€œWhen I expressed my wish I was advised to wait until any candidate will be found for vacancy. It happened on April 3 and I was dismissed then. I think I will not take part in any AZTV initiative any moreâ€.
Faig Husuyev was appointed the head of â€œXabarlarâ€ department. The director of department for Children Anakhanim Abdullayeva also removed and appointed the producer.
The chairman of the TV Company Ali Alishanovâ€™s Office told APA that he can not comment on the changes because of attending the staff meeting.
The director for Main Programmes in AZTV Fuad Valikhanov said he does want to speak on the latest changes. /APA/
