The number of electric passenger cars (electric cars) in Azerbaijan as of January 1, 2025, has been determined, the State Statistical Committee said in response to an inquiry from APA-Economics.
The Committee noted that in 2024, the number of electric passenger vehicles in the country reached 5,941.
For comparison, in 2023, the number of electric passenger vehicles in Azerbaijan had reached 3,115.
Recall that last year, a total of 91,800 vehicles were imported into Azerbaijan, including 3,027 electric cars and 26,197 hybrid vehicles.
