A 1970-born individual (male) who was injured due to a mine explosion near the Shikharkh settlement of the Aghdara district was evacuated from the Tartar District Central Hospital to the Emergency Medical Aid Department of the Barda District Central Hospital at around 17:10 on 03.12.2025, said TABIB in repsponse to APA's inquiry.
It was reported that the patient, who was diagnosed with blast trauma and traumatic amputation of the lower 1/3 of the right shin, is currently undergoing surgery, and his condition is serious.

A mine incident occurred in the Shikharkh village of Aghdara district, the Press Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) said in a joint statement, APA reports.
According to the information, on December 3, Nazim Kamran Panahaliyev, a resident of the village, born in 1970, was injured in his right leg as a result of an anti-personnel mine explosion while grazing cattle in an area that was not cleared of mines.
The injured person was evacuated to the district hospital.
An investigation is underway in the Tartar district prosecutor's office regarding the fact.
"ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office once again call on citizens to follow safety rules, pay attention to mine danger signs and not enter unfamiliar areas," the joint statement said.
