Thus, as of January 1, 2024, 40 of those who committed crimes against peace and humanity, as well as war crimes, in the relevant criminal case, 40 in the Khojaly genocide, 12 in the Garadagli genocide, 18 in the Baganis-Ayrim genocide, 8 in the Meshali genocide, A total of 295, including 47 for the Karkijahan genocide, 34 for torture against captured and hostages, 3 for terrorist crimes, 85 for other episodes, and 48 for banditry, intentional homicide and other crimes under the category of general crimes. since it was proven that the person committed the crimes provided for in articles 103, 107, 113, 115, 116, and others of the Criminal Code, decisions were made regarding them to be involved as accused persons with those articles, preventive measures of arrest were selected based on the court decisions, and appropriate measures were taken to ensure their searches the documents were sent to the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In addition, the process of finding and handing over the remains of the missing persons during the First Karabakh War, as well as the search for mass graves in the territories freed from occupation, has become intensive in 2023.
