The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and Google state that the “Gemini” artificial intelligence model has now been officially launched in the Azerbaijani language, the Ministry told APA-Economics.
As part of a strategic expansion, Azerbaijani was selected as one of the 23 newly added languages. This enables Azerbaijani users to benefit from Gemini’s capabilities in their native language, alongside major global languages.
The Azerbaijani-language interface is already active on the web version, full mobile support (Android/iOS) is available, and the “Gemini Live” feature, which enables real-time conversational interaction, is also accessible.
The company also announced that it has brought advanced creative tools such as “Nano Banana” and “Veo” to the Azerbaijani market. “Nano Banana” allows simple ideas to be transformed into high-quality visuals and enables existing images to be edited using natural language. “Veo,” meanwhile, is an advanced model capable of generating high-quality (1080p) videos with synchronized sound by accurately following complex creative instructions.
To support productivity and education, three new features in the Azerbaijani language have also been launched. “Canvas” provides a dedicated workspace for writing and coding, enabling users to collaborate with Gemini on complex projects. The “Deep Research” model allows in-depth exploration of complex topics by synthesizing information from multiple sources and delivering comprehensive reports. Finally, “Guided Learning” helps users master new subjects through interactive tests tailored to their learning style.
