The government in Azerbaijan is introducing an open data platform, said Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, during his speech at the INMerge innovation summit, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that almost all state data is shared here: “We hope that the private sector and startups will take advantage of this and establish new businesses. To accelerate this process, we will open the Artificial Intelligence Acceleration Center in Baku in the near future. This center will be unique not only for us, but also for the CIS, Central Asia, and North Caucasus regions.
That is why global technology companies choose to invest in Azerbaijan. In recent months, US companies EPAM and Andersen have opened their offices in Baku.”
