Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Binali Yildirim and Defense Minister Hulusi Akar are expected to visit Azerbaijan, announced Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, who is on an official visit to Baku.
Azerbaijan and Turkey are fraternal countries and enjoy good traditions, Cavusoglu told a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku on Tuesday, APA reports.
Cavusoglu went on to say that he discussed important regional projects, issues of security and stability in the region with his Azerbaijani counterpart in Baku.
“The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is a strategic project. Every country wants to join this project. Azerbaijani gas will soon be transported to European countries through the TAP project. We will strengthen our brotherhood and international cooperation day by day,” he said.
