The West has come to the conclusion that the role played by the Russian Federation in regulating Azerbaijan-Armenia relations is wrong and is trying to "tempt" Baku and Yerevan in Brussels, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference in New York, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
The Russian Top diplomat also spoke about the peacekeepers in Garabagh: "Peacekeepers are an issue of bilateral relations between Russia and Azerbaijan."
"The presidents discussed this topic, they agreed that the presence of Russian peacekeepers at the current stage plays a positive role in strengthening stability, building confidence in the region and helping the return of the residents of Karabakh, who want to do so," Lavrov emphasized.
