Vučić: This year is worse than last year, and next year will be worse than this year

“This year is worse than last year, and next year will be worse than this year," Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said in his speech at a panel discussion on “Defining the Economic Identity of Eurasia” held within the framework of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, APA's correspondent sent to Davos reports.

“Last year was the worst year since World War II, a number of wars broke out in various countries or within countries. This year is worse than last year, and next year will be worse than this year. Everyone talks about peace, accuses others of not adhering to something, of not respecting someone. But in the end, everyone takes care of their own national interests. No one pays attention to multilateralism. This is the biggest mistake we have all made in the past. And now no one can fix it. I am not optimistic at all. We have entered a new phase in a world of change and uncertainty. I am not sure that we will be able to cope with this in the coming years,” the Serbian President said.
