“I am very pleased to have visited Azerbaijan, said U.S. Vice President James David Vance in a comment to journalists at the airport after completing his visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports.
He noted that he discussed a number of important issues with the President of Azerbaijan.
Vance emphasized that thanks to the leadership of U.S. President Donald Trump, there will be peace and stability in the South Caucasus instead of war, and trade will be conducted.
The U.S. Vice President described his visit to Azerbaijan as magnificent and thanked President Ilham Aliyev for it.
Calling the President of Azerbaijan a respected world leader, Vance stressed that he discussed regional and global issues, as well as the fight against terrorism, with the head of state.
