“The projects in the region, including the infrastructure, are truly impressive,” Charge d’Affaires of the United States in Azerbaijan, Amy Carlon, said in a statement to APA during a visit to Zangilan with members of the diplomatic corps, APA reports.
“The Government of Azerbaijan organized this opportunity for us to visit the region. In fact, this is my first time outside of Baku, and I am very excited to be here to see the progress. This is especially exciting for us — the U.S. is truly committed to this engagement, and I am very pleased to witness the progress achieved,” Amy Carlon emphasized.
The diplomat also shared her impressions of the infrastructure projects in the region, the newly built houses, parks, and schools.
“This is truly impressive,” Carlon added.
