US Chargé d'affaires congratulates Azerbaijani people

US Chargé d'affaires Guevara has congratulated Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the Restoration of Independence, APA reports.

“This year, we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Azerbaijan. In the three decades since Azerbaijan’s independence, we have continued to engage on promoting energy security, combatting transnational threats, advancing bilateral trade and investment, and working to support fundamental freedoms. Amid these efforts we remain committed to promoting a peaceful and prosperous future for Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus region. On behalf of the United States of America, I congratulate the people of the Republic of Azerbaijan as you celebrate Restoration of Independence Day.”
