A future energy corridor between Syria and Türkiye, as well as between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, could be extremely beneficial, U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye Tom Barrack said at the “Middle East and Africa 2025” event organized by the Milken Institute Think Tank, APA reports.
He emphasized that Türkiye plays a decisive role for Azerbaijan and Armenia.
According to the diplomat, after a peace agreement is signed between Baku and Yerevan, there will be hope for the opening of the Armenia–Türkiye border.
“If we extend the route from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, it will make it possible to solve all regional energy problems.”
