UN Resident Coordinator Vladanka Andreeva’s mandate comes to an end

On December 17, the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Sahil Babayev, received the UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vladanka Andreeva, on the occasion of the completion of her term of office, the Ministry of Finance told APA.

It was noted that during the meeting, an exchange of views was held on the “Framework Document for Cooperation on Sustainable Development for 2026–2030” signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UN in October of the current year. The alignment of the document with national development priorities and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, as well as the possibilities of translating it into practical results, were discussed.

V. Andreeva expressed her gratitude for the high level of partnership and cooperation established between the UN Country Office and the Government of Azerbaijan during her more than four-and-a-half-year term in Azerbaijan.

At the end of the meeting, Minister S. Babayev highly appreciated the contributions made by the Resident Coordinator to the development of relations between the UN and Azerbaijan during her tenure and wished her success in her future endeavors.
