United Nations Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva has congratulated Azerbaijani people on Novruz holiday, Twitter page of the UN Office in Azerbaijan shared a video in this regard, APA reports.
In her congratulatory speech the UN Resident Coordinator said:” On behalf of the United Nations family in Azerbaijan, I wish you a happy, and healthy Novruz. More than 300 million people in the world, including Azerbaijanis, celebrate this holiday and ushering of spring for over 3,000 years. This holiday promotes peace, solidarity, and encourages reconciliation. For the first time, my family and I will celebrate Novruz in Azerbaijan. And we will follow the tradition of having a “samani”, shakarbura and pakhlava on our festive table”.
